30 Day Squat Challenge

I am starting over with Day 1.

At my biggest point ever

Ok, here's the deal.  I'm at my biggest point ever at a non pregnant point.  Baby girl is now 9 weeks and 1 day old.  I've not worried about my weight, but I have gained 10 pounds since she was born.  Now is the time to get motivated and start easing into my routine again.

Self - You are going to work hard at this.  Put in 30 days of work.  See how you feel.  See the results.  No weighing yourself during that time.  No taking measurements during that time.  Do the start day stats, and then wait.

Motivate yourself.
Talk up to yourself.
Praise yourself.
Tell yourself how you did great.

If you miss a day, don't put yourself down and dwell on it.  Realize you missed the day, acknowledge you will continue on, and move on.

You can do it!

Now, to the real stats.

Full hips - 42
Belly (button) - 39.25
Thigh - 26
Arm - 14
Calf - 15
Underbust - 37.5
Bust - 42
Neck - 13

Weight -172

2 Years Later

Yeah.  I totally stopped blogging about my exercise.  I'm back, and I have helpers this time.  I'm going to be blogging with my oldest girls.

About myself:

I just turned 37 last week.  My baby girl (baby 10) turned 9 week yesterday.  I am ready to start my exercise routine back up.  I was running last spring.  Then morning sickness hit and never went away.  I stopped running, and it's been about 9 months.  I'm ready to get moving.
I did start a 30 day squat challenge.  I got 2 weeks in, but have taken a week off due to baby acting fussy during that time.  I'm starting it up again today from Day 1.  I really want to get in shape, but also want to make sure it wasn't my exercise making her fussy and gassy.

I'll post my pictures and measurements soon.

What can I say? It's my fault

So, really, what is there to say?  I let myself go.  I am 35 years and 7 months old.  I have 9 kids.  Yes, they are all mine.  No, none are multiples.  All single births.

When I first met my husband I was 99 lbs.  I am 5'4" (I'm a shortie) and I hate to exercise.  I've always hated it, but I was still active.

Now?  Now I'm tired.  I have a 17, 13, 11, 8, 7, 5, 4, 2, and 16 month old.  I drink a quart of coffee a day to just stay moving.  I am 149 lbs.  Still 5'4". Ha ha

Last year I decided I wanted to prepare for a 5K in May of this year.  I started the C25K program.  I was actually at week 11 of the 10K Trainer.  I was running about 40 minutes 3 times a week.  Then I sprained my ankle.  I had to take time off. In December my hubby and I started running together.

Last May we ran.  It was my first 5K.  It was his second. I ran 3.1 miles in 33 minutes and 17 seconds.

After that?  I stopped.  I wanted a break. I ran once after that.  Then it got hot.  I made excuses.  Three months later, and 8 lbs heavier, I was finishing my plate at dinner.  My 13 year old daughter (Hannah) asks if I'm going to run with her like I promised.  I said "It's so hot".  She looks at me and says "It's nice tonight".  It was, so I put my plate in the sink (instead of getting seconds) and we got in our running clothes.  Then we ran Week 1 Day 1 of C25K.
